Do you ship?
No. We do not ship. However, you can purchase our CBD chocolate online via our sister company, Lulu’s Chocolate.
Can I find your products outside of California?
While we wish we could serve the entire country and beyond, current law prohibits us from crossing state borders with our product. We do hope to eventually establish chapters of Lulu’s in every cannabis friendly state, but for now, we are focusing on California only.
Why the 1:1 ratio of THC:CBD in your products?
CBD and THC work together quite synergistically to create a balanced high. For example, CBD has been found to heighten THC’s painkiller properties, while diminishing the unwanted side effects THC can sometimes create such as paranoia, quickened heartbeat, head fog, etc. Martin A. Lee writes “CBD is the yin of THC’s yang.” Please see our VIDEOS page for more info.
What is a dose? What does a mg mean?
The right “dose” varies with each individual. Tolerances vary and edibles can take up to two hours to reveal their full effects. With CBD, we have never heard of any amount creating negative effects. With THC, we recommend starting light and slowly adding until your desired effect is achieved. Some will say that a standard dose is 10mg, and a microdose is 5mg. Very sensitive folks like Lulu consider a standard dose 5mg and a microdose 2.5mg. We know folks that prefer anywhere from 2mg to 50mg at a time. If you are new to cannabis or only consume very occasionally, our opinion is to start with 2.5mg and give it the full 2 hours before deciding to have more. Please see our VIDEOS page for a more in depth explanation.
What do I do if I get too high?
We suggest keeping CBD on hand at all times. CBD can help counteract the psychoactive effects of THC quite quickly. For this application, we suggest a CBD product with little to no THC.
Do you have any CBD only products?
Indeed we do. Our Chocolate Botanical Delight bar contains 80mg CBD & zero THC. In this product, the THC has been removed and we have added a synergistic blend of terpenes to activate the healing powers of CBD. This bar is available in select dispensaries, some health food stores and online via our sister brand, Lulu’s Chocolate.
How does the effect of eating cannabis differ from inhaling it?
When you consume cannabis edibles, the THC is metabolized by the liver, converting it to 11-hydroxy-THC. It is then more effective in crossing the blood-brain barrier, resulting in a stronger, longer lasting high. When you inhale cannabis the THC goes directly to the brain and the effects diminish much more quickly. Many people find that edibles create more of a body high and less of a head high than inhaling. Due to this as well as the longer lasting high, many folks choose edibles for pain management. Please see our VIDEOS page for more info.
